Dave McClellan:

David McClellan is a seasoned artist with a wide range of skills and experience. For the last 20 years he has been a digital environment artist, concept artist, lighting artist and art director in the video game industry for well-known companies like Disney Interactive and WB games. He has also been an illustrator on many projects including book covers, magazine articles and an award-winning children's book.

He earned his BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University and returned to teach there for several years as both an adjunct and visiting instructor. He also studied drawing at the Camille Corry Studio of Figurative Art atelier in Salt Lake City.

David is a painter at heart, and especially loves doing both landscapes en plein air and sketching people from life. He believes that it's the time artists spend observing and working from life combined with a strong knowledge of composition and design that enable them to create great work.
